Hi Mr Tham,

It’s Debbie Chadd here letting you know that I have made it back to Western Australia in one piece.

I don’t exactly know where to start in thanking you for taking me on the adventure of a life time…..but I will try.

I firstly need to thank you for taking me on your tour when no one else would take only one passenger.  If you hadn’t I surely would have missed out on something really amazing and thought provoking.

I am extremely grateful to both Mike and Peter also……escpecially for getting me up the top of Muruka Hill which should be renamed Muruka Mountain!!

I would also like to thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion for what happened on the Death Marches.  I can begin to understand a little of what happened all those years ago.

Congratulations on your achievements so far and I am sure what you have planned for the future will be as successful, if not more.  I have not met a tour operator who is so passionate about his work and the welfare of his workers as you are.  I think I learnt as much from you as I did from actually doing the march.

I hope Mike did well in his exam….I am sure he would have passed with flying colours!

I saw Peter when I was doing the Mount Kinabalu climb.  He was coming down as I was going up.  Please let him know that the weather was as he predicted: wet, windy, cloudy and very, very cold.  I did however make it to the summit but didn’t stay to see the sunrise……way too cold for me!

I will share my experiences with as many people I can and send them your way should they like to experience things first hand.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

Yours in trekking

Debbie Chadd
